I once read a book about the secret of things

I once read a book about the secret of things,
only to start wondering about truth & meanings.
It was a vision of life that came from within,
and it filled me with destiny about the world we live in.
It was written in symbols, in numbers and forms,
the nature of perfection, from the seed to reborn.
All the aspects of life you must discover in self,
and rise to accomplish all you hope to yourself.
But the path to the answer is traveled within,
revealed to the mind by a study of Yin...
The Yang is the outer and a view of contradictions,
you're fighting & struggling all of life's oppositions.
Yin power is quiet & peaceful and still,
and your mind is in focus to understand ...and it will.

As the road curves in and your purpose is changed,
...it's to give you the viewpoints from both youth & old age.

Beautiful castle

Dean is passionate about organic and holistic means for caring for a landscape. In his opinion, the fewer chemicals, the better. That means, if the grounds around your castle are looking a little less than enthusiastic and seem to have lost their “oomph,” Dean will arrange for a tea party.
Granted, this isn’t the kind of tea you’ll want to drink, but compost tea is like manna from heaven to soil and the plants living there. Compost tea naturally boosts the nutrients in the soil and is completely harmless to pets and people. DeSantis Landscapes applies it with a sprayer, so application is easy, too.
Honestly, if your landscape could talk, it would be singing your praises after a compost tea “party.” (And you don’t even need to dress up for it.)
DeSantis Landscapes also uses compost as top dressing on beds (in your garden). It used to be that bark dust was the finishing touch of choice but, after some research into its pros and cons, Dean opted to switch to compost. The reason was simple: bark dust is devoid of nutrients. It might look pretty, but it does nothing to improve your soil or support the lives growing nearby.
Compost, though, feeds the soil all through the season. When the time comes to redress your beds, compost can easily be amended into the ground providing further benefit to your landscaping investment.
You may be sensing a theme here. Dean believes in being a good earth steward and encourages his clients to adopt the same attitude. To make that easier, they offer DeSantis EarthSense, an organic lawn care program that uses sustainability and natural nutrients to maintain your grounds.
Each program is individually tailored to your specific landscape–including the micro-climates that exist within your larger grounds. Over time, you’ll use less water and cleanse your property of harmful synthetic fertilizers and herbicides. By utilizing this program, you ensure a landscape that will be robust, healthy and beautiful naturally.
If you have children or pets, how could you not seriously consider implementing this program in your yard? Visit their website at www.desantislandscapes.com to learn more about this forward-thinking landscaping company and their DeSantis EarthSense organic lawn care program.
Be sure to visit them at the Energy Trust Better Living Show, too!

Nature is the survival of all places

Deer
I sometimes stare at the sky and wonder why we have made such a mess of things. I wonder how we can tear up the seas and use up the trees all in the name of progress. It is such a tragedy that we are damaging things so fast and they will soon be way beyond repair.
It is very sad to think future generations will not have the natural things to enjoy as we have had, and that they will be paupers when it comes to the offerings of the natural world.
But, preserving nature is one thing ... appreciating it is quite another. There is so very much beauty all around us to see, touch, and hear. Nature is so miraculous because it is always changing. No matter how many times you look at something, it is always different.
Nature can set a sky aflame at sunset or magically transform a familiar landscape into a snow-white wonderland. It can paint a rainbow in the sky, paint beautiful autumn colors on trees, or paint a clump of daffodils in the grass with glow of soft sunlight.

Deer
Nature can bring a lot of beauty into our lives. Nature has a way of affecting our moods and it can force us to change our plans. Nature is responsible for the sun, clouds, rain, and snow. When it is sunny and bright outside, we feel cheerful inside. When it is cloudy and rainy, we often feel gloomy. When there is a beautiful and starry night, the moonlight makes us feel romantic.
When we see the leaves budding on a tree or when a timid flower pushes through the frozen ground, or when we smell the freshness of spring, new hope will always come to us. Nature is truly an intrinsic part of our lives.
When we wake and see a sunrise, when we walk and feel a breeze, when we gaze at the mountains and the splendor of the seas, when we see the earth renew its beauty at each season of the year, and when the stars shine at night, we should be so very thankful to the Lord for giving us all these wonderful and miraculous things. Learning to become more aware of nature can truly have a good effect on our lives in the way we look at things and in the way we feel about ourselves.

It is with much love that I dedicate these pages to a very special and wonderful person, Ginny Ellis. If it hadn't been for her, these pages would not be possible. I truly appreciate every beautiful poem that she has ever written. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Ginny, for bringing so much beauty into the world.

Soak inside the attractiveness of character at 4 Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, Thailand

Imagine soaking in the beauty of verdant jungle surroundings, the sounds of nature and tropical birdsong all around, binoculars at the ready in case an elephant is spotted. Imagine all this, enjoyed in the comfort of a private hot tub on the private deck of a luxury tent – a true picture of old-fashioned romance and adventure.
Imagine no more – Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, Thailand introduces custom-made wooden hot tubs at three of the Camp’s tented accommodations. So after a day of adventure in the jungles of northern Thailand, guests can return to their tent to find their bath is already drawn for them, filled with local organic Thai herbs and flowers, a “mahout mix” blended especially to soothe muscles after a day of elephant riding. Each tub is located in such a way that guests will enjoy total privacy, but will also be able to enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding jungle, the Ruak River, and of Burma and Laos beyond. Lucky guests might even catch a glimpse of the elephants taking their very own bath.
Each of the three tents will feature a hot tub that is unique in its own special way. Guests may select one of the following for their romantic retreat:
The Botanist’s Tent – This tent affords views of the jungle and the Ruak River, the river that forms the border between Thailand and Burma. Guests may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of elephants grazing in the late afternoon from their hot tub, with a spectacular backdrop of the jungles of Burma and the mountains of Laos in the distance. The Botanist’s Tent is located on the Nong Yao side of the Camp, next to the suspension bridge, and is decorated with antique botanical prints and books explaining the botany of the Golden Triangle.
The Burmese Tent – Decorated with Burmese scrolls and accented with Burmese textiles, the Burmese Tent has expansive, wide-open views into Burma, taking in the Ruak River and the dramatic plains beyond. The tent is just steps away from Burma Bar, and is located on the sunset side of the Camp. Where better to watch the sun go down over the jungle than the privacy of one’s own tub?
The Elephant Tent – Also located on the sunset side of the Camp, the Elephant Tent offers views over the Elephant Camp, and the unforgettable opportunity to witness elephants bathing. A truly unique experience.

The beauty of the zhuhai has rich natural charm

Jewel of the south
Zhuhai Fisher Girl Statue, standing on the coast of Xianglu Bay, has become the landmark in Zhuhai, South China's Guangdong province. [Provided to China Daily]
A leisurely stroll along the seaside promenade of Lovers' Road in Zhuhai offers you a dazzling picture of Macao's skyscrapers in the distance, and a view of the restless waters that flow into the South China Sea through Lingdingyang Bay. In some quarters, Zhuhai is billed as the city for lovers, and there is little doubt that this coastal city in southern China has the most open of hearts. Its location, the pleasant natural environment and a supportive local government have made the city a handsome target for international investment suitors over the past 10 years.
Zhao Chunming, work general manager of BP Zhuhai Chemical Co, brims with enthusiasm about the city.

Hengqin to bridge the mainland gap with Hong Kong, Macao
"Located at the heart of the Pearl River Delta and in one of China's earliest economic development zones, Zhuhai enjoys superior seaport and land transportation facilities, efficient logistics services in Gaolan Port and easy access to our customers in the core South and East China markets."
BP Zhuhai was the first Sino-foreign joint venture in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone, producing and marketing purified terephthalic acid. PTA is used to make polyethelene terephthalate, which in turn is used in making textiles, bottles, packaging and film products.
BP Zhuhai turned its first sod of ground in the economic zone in November 2000. Since then expansion has continued apace, and total PTA production there will eventually be 1.7 million tons a year.

Jewel of the south
For Zhao Chunming, Zhuhai's proximity and cultural similarities to Macao and Hong Kong give it an undeniable social and economic edge. A "bridge" linking the three is now being built, something likely to reinforce the identity of a three-pronged mega metropolis.
Construction of the 49.9 kilometer link - commonly called a bridge, but which in fact consists of a series of bridges and tunnels - is expected to cost more than 70 billion yuan (7.55 billion euros), began 20 months ago and is due to be completed by 2016. Zhuhai will then be the only city that directly connects Hong Kong and Macao.
"More importantly, a business-friendly and responsive government, together make Zhuhai a good place to invest," Zhao says.
"We are committed to building on its cutting-edge technology and growing BP Zhuhai further."
Many other overseas companies, such as Zhuhai Cellulose Fibers Co Ltd, Shell and Hutchison-Whampoa have taken up residence over the years, and the city has a reputation for its welcoming arms to foreigners.
"Zhuhai is an immigrant city with a society less exclusive to a specific group, which is like our company," says Wang Jun, general manager of Zhuhai Cellulose Fibers Co Ltd.
Zhuhai Cellulose Fibers produces cellulose acetate tow, which is used in making cigarette filters. The venture is a joint effort between China National Tobacco Corporation and the US company Celanese.
The Zhuhai company, which employs about 330 people, was founded a little more than 18 years ago, and since then many Americans have called the city home as they have headed across the seas to work with their Chinese partners.
